nakameguro's matcha is excited to offer this rare matcha variety from the kyushu region of japan, this ceremonial grade matcha comes from yame, japan where the matcha is known to taste differently than traditional matcha from uji, japan.
yame's matcha is rich, nutty and has a beautiful deep green color. we recommend this matcha for everyday matcha drinkers and it's clear nuttiness makes it our favorite matcha to use for iced matcha lattes.

RECIPE
nakameguro's recipe for umi
Sift 3.5g matcha into the chawan (tea bowl)
add 35g water at 75' celsius to the chawan and whisk vigorously until it foams (approx 45-60 seconds)
add 125g of oatmilk

pour over ice and stir


oatmilk is the most recommended for this recipe as it pairs well with the nutty notes of umi
